Cannot use plugins

Hi,

I’m new to Zrythm and already like what I see. However, I cannot get any instrument plugins to work. Whenever I drag a plugin from the plugin browser into the track list, I get this error message (I’ve tried Pianoteq, Yoshimi, synthv1, padthv1):

zrythm_plugin_error

The log says something similar:

This is with the free .deb version v1.0.0-beta.6.2.1 on Ubuntu Studio 23.10, Carla is v2.5.7.

I hope anyone can help me with this as I really want to try Zrythm.

In such cases it’s usually the plugin’s fault. Do any plugins work? Can you try running the plugins unbridged?

Ok, I just read up on bridged vs. unbridged and now after I used right click and “Add to project” to add a new track it worked. It now also works when dragging the plugin over to the track view so apparently, using that menu option once has changed the default operation for the drag and drop action?

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion! I can now begin and explore the software.
