I would like to purchase the subscription, but only if I can use it on my Linux and Mac laptops.
So my question is - is it a named user based subscription (can use multiple devices and OSes) or does it cover just a certain OS or device?

Thanks for considering the subscription! It’s a user-based subscription. When you subscribe, a “subscription product” becomes associated with your account and it gives you access to installers for all platforms and you can use them as many times as you want. Here is how it looks:
Do note that Zrythm v1 is pretty broken on Mac but the subscription includes nightly builds of v2 which seem to work well on Mac but v2 is incomplete (still in development).
(The ordering of the v2 nightly builds is incorrect but I’ll fix that another time)
Wonderful! I’ll likely transition from Mac to Linux anyway, I guess. The Linux Version is stable?
v1 GNU/Linux version is stable yes, although it’s unmaintained and has some issues that are addressed in v2. I suggest trying the trial version on the Zrythm website first. It’s the same thing as the paid builds besides the limitation in number of tracks.
