I was excited to try the free version, but when I installed it and tried to open it, it never opens up. I’ve installed it on 2 windows laptops, both with the latest versions of Windows 11, but different hardware, and Zrhythm doesn’t open up. Just get the spinning blue circle for a couple of seconds.
I know after reading in technical support of others with exactly the same problem, but there doesn’t appear to be a resolution to this issue.
Really would love to give Zrythm a go.
Same issue here. Resource manager shows that zrythm.exe runs, but exits shortly after
Same issue, I opened up task manager and it Zrythm makes an appearance for a few seconds, and disappears.
The Same for me. I try on a fresh windows 11 up to date and all driver up to date too. Zrythm appear in the ressource manager runs and disappears. I purchase for v1 and v2 installer. the installer is fine but the soft crash…

I’m also having the same issue on a fresh install of the Zrythm trial on Windows 11 Home (24H2, 26100.3194).

I have no logs generated, tried the mingw route with no logs and I can try the VS Code way if needed as well but thought I’d wait for now.

Unfortunately I don’t think there will be a good solution to this other than wait for v2. The software stack used in v1 is very unfriendly towards Windows/Mac and I don’t want to spend more time on v1. It seems stable enough on GNU/Linux though.
There’s still lots to do for v2 to be usable but I plan to restart nightly builds soon for testing.
