Pulseaudio doesn't work on Ubuntu 24.04?

Trying to play back the example project with PulseAudio as the backend and selecting my sound output, but not hearing anything.

Also, I don’t see my MIDI controllers when I set my backend to ALSA Sequencer, but I do see them in other applications i.e. LMMS.

And not sure if this is on purpose or a bug, but my preferences go back to the default whenever I restart Zrythm.

UPDATE: Originally deleted because I was wondering if uninstalling 1.0.0-rc1 and installing Beta 6.7.32 would fix it, but decided to undelete it because I ran into the exact same problem.

Are you using the pure Pulseaudio backend or the RtAudio one? System Requirements - Zrythm 1.0.0-rc.1 documentation

Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation. But RtAudio. Or as it’s labeled, PulseAudio(rtaudio)

Thanks for the info, I will look into it. In the meantime, I suggest using JACK/JACK MIDI. It’s the best supported backend (and works well with Pipewire too).
